Profile: Academy of Orthodontic Assisting(AOA) offers orthodontic staff training. We provide hands-on training to teach knowledge and skills necessary for an orthodontic assistant. We offer both online and class room based course. Our course covers topics such as oral and dental anatomy, orthodontics, orthodontic appliance, arch wire selections, headgear & elastics, secondary appliance, selection of orthodontic appliance, removal and retention, diagnostic record, radiation & x-ray safety, orthodontic models, patient management, infection control & safety and professionalism in orthodontics.
