Profile: Simbios Group provides a wide range of dental products. Our product AF 101 is a fourth generation apex detector. It is safe and reliable and allows a total automatism during its use. The device is the only one of its kind, since it takes the apical impedance using square waves. It is manufactured according to the CEI 62-5, class I, type B regulations, and uses a 9 volt battery placed on the back of the box. It is also endowed with a small cable plugged in the box side. At the other end, the cable is provided with two terminals, the signal transmitter is placed in the vestibule for nix. The signal receiver has a clip in which the file is inserted. The detector can take a correct measure both with dry or wet canal and isn't affected by tooth type, canal dimension or possible presence of H2O2, hypochlorite, blood, pus, saline physiological solution and anaesthetics. The detector can also locate the tooth apex in case of non-vital tooth and necrotic or hemorrhagic pulp. It doesnot need any manual adjustment or tuning.
