Profile: Zebris Medical GmbH specializes offers medical and dental measurement systems. The optional EMG measuring system records the muscular action potential by means of bipolar skin surface electrodes. The system enables function tests to be made on the anterior and masseter groups of muscles. The conductance is affected on both sides through active electronic electrode cables. The EMG activity can thereby be detected precisely and reliably without cable artefacts. The measuring results are displayed in real time on the PC and are automatically analyzed for the report. This evaluation reports displays the muscle tone at rest, muscular activity during the bite & the pattern of recruitment and muscular fatigue.
